Variance Purchase Orders


Capture changes in job costs when they happen, allowing you to manage those changes effectively. VPO’s we have delivered for customers have also included automatic review processes via routing the VPO’s to different managers for approval based on the total cost. Any request over a specific limit, or for a specific community or location, can be routed automatically via email to the appropriate person for approval.

There is no limit to the number of approval paths that can be defined, or the number of approval levels in each path. Approvals can be based on the amount of the request, so a supervisor may have spending authority for materials up to $75 for example. Beyond that, the request might be routed to a purchasing agent if it’s between $75 to $200; to a purchasing manager if the amount is between $200 and $1,000; and perhaps to a senior manager for requests over $1,000.

Back Charge Requests 


Whether you own the project or serve as a general contractor or a sub-contractor, there are often times where a third party performs work (or materials) on your behalf. If there are any issues with the group that you hired to perform work, it is very important to carefully document these issues so you can protect yourself later if a dispute develops in the future. Nearly all construction contracts provide for remedies in the event of a default in performance by a group retained under the contract. These offsets, called Back Charges, can easily be documented within DynoForms in any one of our Back Charge Request forms.

DynoForms allows these Back Charges to be completed at the time of the issue and presented in the form of notes, photos, and other evidence.

Warranty Requests 


Every construction contract includes warranties and some of these warranties are written into the contract expressly, or implied by law. These warranty requests cover warranting the quality of materials, warranting the work’s conformance to contract documents and warranting the work is free of defects.

Whether the warranty is express or implied, each warranty can lead to liability for a party to the contract if the warranty is breached in some way. DynoForms can quickly add Warranty Request forms as we have for other customers to quickly and accurately document and route all warranty requests to include vendor information, property information, descriptions, costs, material information, resolution information, notes and photos.

Work Order Requests 


For more efficient processing of service and job work, it is vital to manage work orders with a tool that delivers maximum efficiency. DynoForms allows you to create, dispatch and route work order forms to your entire mobile team. Work Orders can be created by a manager, partially filled out, and then dispatched to a mobile field worker to complete. Adding parts or material to the work order form is possible using our Data Services tool to upload your parts and materials catalogs for easy search and integration with any of your forms.

In addition, we can embed logic to create tax, sub-totals and totals for all parts, material and labor to your work order and other forms.

And finally, DynoForms customers use our PDF integration tools to generate invoices after a job is complete which can be automatically emailed to your customer - all within DynoForms.

Easily integrate your parts and material catalogs into your forms to include search and lookups against descriptions or part numbers. Simply enter a partial text search for the part and with a simple tap we will add the selected part and quantity to any form. We will even add cost, tax and totals to your forms to allow you to create proper invoices on the backend.

Excavation / Ground Disturbance Planning 


When a permit must be completed prior to all work that will involve digging, boring, grading, cutting, drilling, coring or otherwise breaking through earthen or paved surfaces, DynoForms can be used to fill out Excavation and Ground Disturbance Planning forms. This allows members of the construction management team to review and sign off on the permit prior to any ground/slab disturbance activity.

This same form can be used when conditions or methods change and a new permit must be issued.. A copy of the permit can easily be made available for audit or review upon request.

Slab Disturbance Permits 


When a permit must be completed prior to all work that will involve drilling, boring, coring, saw cutting, chipping or otherwise breaking through elevated or at grade concrete slabs, DynoForms can be used to fill out Slab Disturbance Permit forms. This allows members of the construction management team to review and sign off on the permit prior to any slab disturbance activity begins.

Often information about a property location such as address, plan information, square footage, etc. might need to be added to a form before submitting.
